Preparation for Reintegration
We understand that successful reintegration starts with proper preparation. Our team provides training and support to the vulnerable persons, including ex-prisoners, displaced persons, juveniles, victims of sexual gender-based violence, persons who have fallen out of employment, and disabled persons, to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge needed for a successful return to their communities.
Community Sensitization
Our community sensitization programs aim to promote understanding and acceptance of reintegrated persons. We work with community leaders and members to educate them about the challenges faced by the vulnerable persons and how they can support their successful reintegration.
Resettlement and Integration
We facilitate the safe return of the vulnerable persons to their communities and support their integration through a range of services, including counseling, vocational training, and seed funding. We also work with communities to provide support for the vulnerable persons, including access to healthcare, education, and housing.
Empowerment
We believe that the key to successful reintegration is empowering the vulnerable persons to become self-sufficient. Our team provides vocational training and seed funding to enable the vulnerable persons to start their own businesses and generate income.
Halfway Homes
For vulnerable persons who do not have a safe place to live after leaving detention or rehabilitation facilities, we provide halfway homes to ensure their safety and protection while they look for suitable and safe places of abode.
Rehabilitation and Treatment
We provide rehabilitation and treatment programs to address issues such as drug addiction, mental health, and trauma, which can be barriers to successful reintegration.
Follow-up Monitoring
Our team conducts follow-up visits to the vulnerable persons after their return to their communities to assess their progress and provide additional support where needed.
